This rare Jeanette Kastenberg for St. Martin sequin bolero is an excellent example of bold 1980s design. Its hand-sewn black and white sequins form an abstract animal (cow) print, creating a striking contrast that commands attention. The cropped silhouette and structured shoulders give it a sculptural edge.
A few sequins have been lost to time—five are missing, left as is to preserve the jacket’s originality. The meticulous craftsmanship and statement design still make it a showstopping piece.
